GOODWILL MESSAGE FROM DR. ROBERT AMESIYA, GREATER ACCRA REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF HEALTH SERVICE ON PML CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL’S CENTENARY CELEBRATION

On behalf of the Greater Accra Regional Health Directorate and on my own behalf as Regional Director of Health Service, I extend warmest congratulations to PML Children’s Hospital on the occasion of your centenary anniversary.

One hundred years is a remarkable testimony. It speaks of vision sustained across generations, of service rendered through changing times, and of an institution that chose, over and again, to stay true to its founding purpose: the health and well-being of children. That commitment, held steadily through a century, deserves both recognition and celebration.

You have built a legacy that extends well beyond your walls. Countless children have received care within your facility, and countless families have left with restored hope. The clinicians, nurses, allied health professionals, administrative staff, and the many who have passed through your doors over the decades are all part of that story. We salute every one of them.

As you mark this milestone, we wish you continued strength, renewed purpose, and the resources to serve the next hundred years with the same excellence that has defined the first. May your institution remain a beacon of hope and healing for the children of Ghana.

Congratulations once again on this outstanding milestone.

Dr. Robert Amesiya

Regional Director of Health Service
